PLANETSHAKERS - NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

I’m not gonna live by what I see,
I’m not gonna live by what I feel

[Pre-chorus:]
Deep down I,
Know that You’re here with me
I know that, You can do anything

[Chorus:]
Through You,
I can do anything,
I can do all things,
For it’s You who give me strength,
Nothing is impossible

Through You,
Blind eyes are opened,
Strongholds are broken,
I am living by faith,
Nothing is impossible!

[Bridge:]
I believe, I believe,
I believe, I believe in You

You Can Do Anything with God

You can do anything!

When we look at the miracles Jesus performed they all releated to helping others. He healed the sick, raised the dead, and fed thousands with only enough for few. Those seem like pretty major things. So, how are we supposed to make miracles happen?

Sometimes in our life pople will tell us that there is no way we can do certain things because we are not good enough, or we are too young, or we are not smart enough. People discredited Jesus, said He could not do miracles or that He was not the Son of God. But He did not let that stop Him. He knew that God had given him authority over all things and that no one could take that away from Him.

Jesus lived the way He wants us to live. Everywhere Jesus went he helped people in need. He never let His age, how little or how much He had, or what other people thought of Him get in the way of being used by God to do miracles. Jesus always took action with what He had and miracles followed.

In 1 Samuel 17:1-50 we find the true story of David and Goliath. David is the perfect example of someone who saw the needs of the people around him, took what he had, and made history! You can be a history maker too!

Do have Giants to overcome?

David trusted God to help him even though the giant Goliath was much bigger than he was. Do you have any "giants" in your life? Is there something so big that you don't see a way to overcome it? Maybe it's a person, maybe it's finances? Whatever it is ask God for help in meeting this enemy.

FOR NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD

"For nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37 (NIV)

God can handle any situation you give Him. No problem is too tough for Him. Nothing is beyond His ability. But the first thing you’ve got to do is bring it to Him.

What’s the decision you’re facing this week? What’s the mountain that needs to be moved? Cancer? Bankruptcy? Your kids having problems? Can’t break a bad habit?

"... Nothing is impossible with God."
In Jeremiah 32:27 God says, "I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" (NIV) It is almost like God laying down the gauntlet saying, "I dare you. Think up a problem that I couldn’t solve. Is anything too hard for me?"
Most of us, growing up, have said, "My daddy can do anything! My daddy can beat your daddy!" I really thought that. But, as I grew up, I began to have my eyes opened. I realized that when it came to my allowance, my dad had limited resources. When it came to advice, sometimes he was just guessing too. My guess was as good as his, because he was an imperfect father.

Ephesians 3:20 says, "God is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes!" (LB) I have a pretty vivid imagination. I can think up some pretty big dreams. I can set some high goals. God says, "My son, you think up the greatest thing you think I could do in your life and I can beat that. I can top that." He is a capable Father.

What can I expect from my Father in heaven? "My God shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19 NIV) He has unlimited resources, unlimited energy, unlimited knowledge, unlimited time. He says I can supply all of your needs.

God says you’re forgiven. He says he’ll provide. He says we need not fear. To paraphrase the Bible, God says, "I’ll take care of yesterday’s failures, today’s frustrations, and tomorrow’s fears because I am a capable Father." Nice weekend.

There is Nothing Impossible with God

We could see two womens in the chapter 4 of II Kings. One is a poor widow and the other is a rich women. (You can read about them in 2nd King Ch.4) Both are facing some serious problems in their life which cannot be solved by themselves. We all have problems which cannot be solved by ourselves. But these womens are lucky enough to have a prophet with them who solved their problems. If you have a problem, don't be afraid, here, in front of you a one person is present, he is grater than the prophet Elisha, He is Jesus. Take all your problems to him. He will solve all your problems. He can deliver you from everything.

Let us look at the rich women who come in to contact with the prophet. When he visited Shunem she invited him to have a meal. He used to travel through Shunem. Whenever he visited Shunem he stopped at her house to eat. She said to her husband, "I know that this man who often comes our way is a holy man of God. Let's make a small room on the roof and put in it a bed and a table, a chair and a lamp for him. Then he can stay there whenever he comes to us."
She has a good heart, a giving heart, an understanding heart. There were many houses in the village of Shunem. But one house is opened to the Servant of God. She had a open heart. That is what we need to have. A heat that is open to receive our savior Jesus Christ. When she opened her house and heart to receive the man of God she got blessings. That is the secret of Blessings. Do you need some blessings, please open your heart. He will come to you and bless you.

One day when Elisha came, he went up to his room and lay down there. He said to his servant Gehazi, "Call the Shunammite." So he called her, and she stood before him. Elisha said to him, "Tell her, 'You have gone to all this trouble for us. Now what can be done for you? Can we speak on your behalf to the king or the commander of the army?' "

She replied, "I have a home among my own people."

"What can be done for her?" Elisha asked.

Gehazi said, "Well, she has no son and her husband is old."

Then Elisha said, "Call her." So he called her, and she stood in the doorway. "About this time next year," Elisha said, "you will hold a son in your arms."
"No, my lord," she objected. "Don't mislead your servant, O man of God!"

But the woman became pregnant, and the next year about that same time she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her.

See she done all that without expecting anything. She had short falls in her life. She never spoke about it. You don't have to talk about your short falls in life to anybody. When you receive Jesus in your heart, he understands your short falls. He know what you need. He will give you whatever you want in your life. Just receive him in your hart, He knows all about you. He will bless you. He will provide you for your all needs. He understands you very well.

The child grew, and one day he went out to his father, who was with the reapers. "My head! My head!" he said to his father.
His father told a servant, "Carry him to his mother." After the servant had lifted him up and carried him to his mother, the boy sat on her lap until noon, and then he died. She went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, then shut the door and went out.

She called her husband and said, "Please send me one of the servants and a donkey so I can go to the man of God quickly and return."

"Why go to him today?" he asked. "It's not the New Moon or the Sabbath."
"It's all right," she said.

Her husband was not spiritual as she was. He goes to church on Sundays and on Easter or Christmas. Now he couldn't see a reason to go to church. That is why he is saying that today is not the Sabbath or New Moon. Why you are going to church. But the good news is that he did not prevent her from going to Church. Many of us are like him. We go to church or God only on Sunday's or special occasions. When we face problems, we should go to God. There is no special time to go to God. When ever there is a problem, you can go to him and seek his intervention. He is open 24 x 7 x 365.
She saddled the donkey and said to her servant, "Lead on; don't slow down for me unless I tell you."

Look at her faith. She didn't informed about the death of her child even to her husband. She didn't cry at the loss of her child. She has the courage to keep it with her. Here starts her problem. She know that she could not handle the situation. She cannot bring her child back to life. But she knows that there is one who can solve her problem. He is able to give a solution. When we face such situation, where we are going. Are we going to someone who is fully capable to solve our problem. Or are we going to someone who could not handle the problem. She did not take her child to a Doctor. If she had done so, the doctor could only confirm the death and nothing more. But she went to one to whom she believed, who could solve her problem. Where we are going to get a solution for our problem. Are we going to the right person. Our friends and relatives could only mourn with us. So why we should go to them. Take your problem to Jesus. He will be able to give you a solution for your problem.

So she set out and came to the man of God at Mount Carmel.
When he saw her in the distance, the man of God said to his servant Gehazi, "Look! There's the Shunammite! Run to meet her and ask her, 'Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your child all right?' "

"Everything is all right," she said.

See her faith. She is saying everything is all right. She didn't say that she is in a problem. She said "Everything is alright. She could have burst into tears and pour out her heaviness of her heart in front of Gehazi. But she didn't do that. Even though Gehazi is helping the prophet, he is not the right person to tell all the problem.
Yes, with the faith she is saying her child is alright. She knows that she has come to a prophet who can make her son well.
Yes, when we come in the presence of God, even though we have problems, we must say the words of faith. Say everything is alright. Say to your brother and your sister that everything is alright. Because you have come to Jesus who is able to solve your problem.
When she reached the man of God at the mountain, she took hold of his feet. Gehazi came over to push her away, but the man of God said, "Leave her alone! She is in bitter distress, but the LORD has hidden it from me and has not told me why."

"Did I ask you for a son, my lord?" she said. "Didn't I tell you, 'Don't raise my hopes'?"
Elisha said to Gehazi, "Tuck your cloak into your belt, take my staff in your hand and run. If you meet anyone, do not greet him, and if anyone greets you, do not answer. Lay my staff on the boy's face."

But the child's mother said, "As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you." So he got up and followed her.

Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the boy's face, but there was no sound or response. So Gehazi went back to meet Elisha and told him, "The boy has not awakened."

When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch. He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the LORD. Then he got on the bed and lay upon the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out upon him, the boy's body grew warm. Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out upon him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.

Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, "Call the Shunammite." And he did. When she came, he said, "Take your son." She came in, fell at his feet and bowed to the ground. Then she took her son and went out.
When we face where we are going. Are we going to Jesus who could solve our problems. If so, you don't have to worry. He will not turn you down.
Yes there is nothing impossible for God.

May God bless you.

Nothing is Impossible With God - Just Activate Your Faith

By Sandra Weekes

I was always fascinated with characters in television like Superman, Wonder Woman, The Bionic Woman, Spiderman along with Batman and Robin. They could fly, move faster than a speeding bullet, change into their clothes in a matter of moments and manage to do amazing things to save the day. There was this show called S.W.A.T. that I dared not miss because it was about a special police force. They would knock down doors, jump out of large vans and roll into position to take down the bad guys. One day my sister and I were riding our tricycle down a steep hill. The tricycle had two handle bars, two seats and two wheels with a small ledge in the back. I should have been on the seat holding the handle bars but I could have a much more dramatic stunt if I jump off the back of the bike. Doreen was paddling and guiding the bike. As soon as I could seize the moment, I jumped off the bike and rolled down the side walk onto the grass.

My first attempt was successful. It was time to try it again because it was so much fun. The second attempt was not as successful as my first jump. I missed the grass and ended up on the sidewalk, face down. My eye brows were completely skinned off, my front teeth were chipped, my face was scraped and bruised in various spots and all that I could think of was, how am I going to explain this to mama? She cleaned me up and threatened to send me to school with two band aids as my new eyebrows. Needless to say, those are the joys of childhood. I wanted to share this with you because I want each of you to take a leap of faith and move towards those things that you desire for your life. What do you desire for your life? What would you like to do in the church? Do you want to go to college? Do you want to start a business? Would you like to be a bishop, pastor, teacher, minister, evangelist, missionary, doctor, surgeon, a senator or congressman? There is no limit as to what you can achieve because there is nothing impossible with God; just activate your faith. You are probably looking and thinking, what exactly is that. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen is what Hebrews 11:1 says.

Let me explain in a right now situation, a here and now time, something that you can relate with . You are hungry and everyone's talking about going to Wendy's. You want to go but you don't have any money. You are trusting and believing that your parents have the money. You ask them for it and they give it to you. So off you go to Wendy's with your friends. Now we can relate to the scripture because faith is the substance of things hoped for, the money that you hoped your parents had, the evidence of things not seen, the money that you have not seen yet but believing that they have for you. Seek God and do these things that please Him. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The lesson is taken from the book of Mark chapter 9 verses 17-30. A man approaches Jesus and ask him to pray for his son who had a mute spirit. The spirit would make him foam at the mouth, throws him down gnashes his teeth and he becomes rigid. He had approached the disciples asked them to cast it out but they could not. Jesus then states, "Oh unbelieving generation, how long will I have to do/deal with you? Bring him to me." The father brings the boy to Jesus and the spirit saw Him and began foaming at the mouth, falling on the ground and grinding his teeth. The boy falls into a motionless stupor. Jesus asked the father how long has he been like this. The father told him since he was a little boy. The spirit the father explains has thrown him into fire and water in an attempt to kill him. He begs Jesus to have pity on them if He can do anything. Jesus says, "If I can do anything? Why all things are possible to him who believes. The father cries out. Lord, I believe! A crowd of people began to form, He rebuked the unclean spirit and told the spirit to never come into the boy again The spirit cried out and came out of the boy. Everyone thought that he was dead but Jesus took the boy by his hand and lifted him up and the boy arose. Later, the disciples asked Jesus, why could we not cast him out? He replied that this spirit cannot be driven out but through prayer and fasting. He then left passing along Galilee without any one knowing he left.

Remember nothing is impossible with God; just activate your faith.
* Delight yourself in God and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
* Have a vision for yourself because without vision the people perish. Proverbs 29:18
* Write the vision and make it plain. Habakkuk 2:2

Regardless of how many people tell you that what you're attempting can't be done, persevere, and declare the favor of God. Maintain an attitude of faith. God will open doors for you and change circumstances on your behalf. Tell yourself that I am the head and not the tail. I am a victor and not a victim. I am a child of the most high king and I have favor with Him. My God will provide. But He said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Nothing is impossible with God; just activate your faith.

Impossible is Nothing

However, on the morning of the 4th of December 1982 in Melbourne ( Australia ), the last two words on the minds of my parents was "Praise God!". Their firstborn son had been born without limbs! There were no warnings or time to prepare themselves for it. The doctors we shocked and had no answers at all! There is still no medical reason why this had happened and Nick now has a Brother and Sister who were born just like any other baby. The whole church mourned over my birth and my parents were absolutely devastated. Everyone asked, "if God is a God of Love, then why would God let something this bad happen to not just anyone, but dedicated Christians?" My Dad thought I wouldn't survive for very long, bMy name is Nick Vujicic and I give God the Glory for how He has used my testimony to touch thousands of hearts around the world! I was born without limbs and doctors have no medical explanation for this birth "defect". As you can imagine, I was faced with many challenges and obstacles. "Consider it pure joy, my Brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds." ....To count our hurt, pain and struggle as nothing but pure joy? As my parents were Christians, and my Dad even a Pastor of our church, they knew that verse very well. Hut tests proved that I was a healthy baby boy just with a few limbs missing. Understandably, my parents had strong concern and evident fears of what kind of life I'd be able to lead. God provided them strength, wisdom and courage through those early years and soon after that I was old enough to go to school. The law in Australia didn't allow me to be integrated into a main-stream school because of my physical disability.

God did miracles and gave my Mom the strength to fight for the law to be changed. I was one of the first disabled students to be integrated into a main-stream school. I liked going to school, and just try to live life like everyone else, but it was in my early years of school where I encountered uncomfortable times of feeling rejected, weird and bullied because of my physical difference. It was very hard for me to get used to, but with the support of my parents, I started to develop attitudes and values which helped me overcome these challenging times. I knew that I was different but on the inside I was just like everyone else. There were many times when I felt so low that I wouldn't go to school just so I didn't have to face all the negative attention. I was encouraged by my parents to ignore them and to try start making friends by just talking with some kids. Soon the students realized that I was just like them, and starting there God kept on blessing me with new friends. There were times when I felt depressed and angry because I couldn't change the way I was, or blame anyone for that matter. I went to Sunday School and learnt that God loves us all and that He cares for you. I understood that love to a point as a child, but I didn't understand that if God loved me why did He make me like this? Is it because I did something wrong? I thought I must have because out of all the kids at school, I'm the only weird one. I felt like I was a burden to those around me and the sooner I go, the better it'd be for everyone. I wanted to end my pain and end my life at a young age, but I am thankful once again, for my parents and family who were always there to comfort me and give me strength. Due to my emotional struggles I had experienced with bullying, self esteem and loneliness, God has implanted a passion of sharing my story and experiences to help others cope with whatever challenge they have in their life and let God turn it into a blessing.

To encourage and inspire others to live to their fullest potential and not let anything get in the way of accomplishing their hopes and dreams. One of the first lessons that I have learnt was not to take things for granted. "And we know that in all things God works for the best for those who love Him."That verse spoke to my heart and convicted me to the point where that I know that there is no such thing as luck, chance or coincidence that these "bad" things happen in our life. I had complete peace knowing that God won't let anything happen to us in our life unless He has a good purpose for it all. I completely gave my life to Christ at the age of fifteen after reading John 9. Jesus said that the reason the man was born blind was "so that the works of God may be revealed through Him." I truly believed that God would heal me so I could be a great testimony of His Awesome Power. Later on I was given the wisdom to understand that if we pray for something, if it's God's will, it'll happen in His time. If it's not God's will for it to happen, then I know that He has something better. I now see that Glory revealed as He is using me just the way I am and in ways others can't be used.I am now twenty-one years old and have completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting. I am also a motivational speaker and love to go out and share my story and testimony wherever opportunities become available. I have developed talks to relate to and encourage students through topics that challenge today's teenagers. I am also a speaker in the corporate sector. I have a passion for reaching out to youth and keep myself available for whatever God wants me to do, and wherever He leads, I follow.I have many dreams and goals that I have set to achieve in my life.

I want to become the best witness I can be of God's Love and Hope, to become an international inspirational speaker and be used as a vessel in both Christian and non-Christian venues. I want to become financially independent by the age of 25, through real estate investments, to modify a car for me to drive and to be interviewed and share my story on the "Oprah Winfrey Show"! Writing several best-selling books has been one of my dreams and I hope to finish writing my first by the end of the year. It will be called "No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!"

I believe that if you have the desire and passion to do something, and if it's God's will, you will achieve it in good time. As humans, we continually put limits on ourselves for no reason at all! What's worse is putting limits on God who can do all things. We put God in a "box". The awesome thing about the Power of God, is that if we want to do something for God, instead of focusing on our capability, concentrate on our availability for we know that it is God through us and we can't do anything without Him. Once we make ourselves available for God's work, guess whose capabilities we rely on? God's! Sacrifice anything for FRIENDSHIP, but don't sacrifice FRIENDSHIP for anything.....................
